Online image size is much too large

Some of the pages are 5MB in size. That is far too large for a website and is increasing load times to unacceptable levels. We don't need such high quality images for the most part. Keep those to the download area.

We only need an image that's 200dpi and at most 1200px tall. There are usually solutions that will take the source image and generate the smaller image on the fly and this could be implemented into the settings. That means you get more ads viewed and you reduce any bandwidth costs you might have and those who want higher quality can get them (or at the very least download them). It's basically a win-win situation.

For me, there is no visual difference between 200dpi and 600dpi online and I'm sure most users are in the same boat.
