Advanced search won't stop crashing

So for a while now (Specifically since the last maintenance that I'm aware of happening.) the advanced search has been broken even right now i have problems getting the tags to not crash chrome while typing them. If I'm lucky i can get one tag typed at most i got three the first try when i noticed things like comments would finally load, but after the third it would crash after typing two letters. Now i can't even get one tag typed without it crashing over two letters. I adapted to the new tag selection system but I've had more issues getting this one to work than the older one where i only had to type a few letters into the exclude or include boxes. If you could include in the preference tab a way to use the old advanced search set-up I'd appreciate it. it'd also be nice for the people who prefer the new set-up to fix the crashing problems. please and thank you.

Side note I've tried clearing cache and cookies it still doesn't fix the problem so i figured it's a site problem.

That is probably because, we did not added a tag limit on the search that cause the chrome uses a lot of memory/cpu usage.

You can link internally to galleries, users, tags, etc. by typing an identifier (consisting of one letter and a number) between brackets. To quickly find and select tags and galleries to link to, use the searchfield to insert them into your post.

Examples:
  • Reply to a post: eg. [C5]
  • Link to a tag: eg. [T187]
  • Link to a gallery: eg. [G54]
  • Link to an image: eg. [G54#2]
  • Link to a user: eg. [U521]
  • Link to a contribution: eg. [S128]
  • Link to a forum post: eg. [P15]
