Tag Data
Type: Content
English: shortstack
Japanese:
Alternatives: short-stacked
Description: A shortstack is a female character with exaggerated proportions. Short in stature, and having large breasts and hips. A shortstack character is not necessarily a young character. When categorizing under this body type, think similarly to thick goblin girls or the Draph race characters from granblue fantasy.

We already have this tag: Midget.

Hello, a shortstack is not a midget, dwarf or a oppai loli. Do I need to describe the difference more? I tried being as specific as possible in the description as well as using common descriptions used across popular r34 sites.

Midget covers the extremes, characters that are normally short are too common to tag in hentai.
Just to be clear, Midget does not require a character to be human, Dwarves make up the majority of the tag as far as I've seen, Goblins have their own tag already.

Im guessing regardless of what I describe, the shortstack tag will never be added as a tag? I was hoping to get alignment with other sites and common r34 tags.

The biggest distinction between a shortstack and a midget or dwarf, is the exaggeration of body proportions. Not just the characters height. It was probably a mistake to add the last sentence to my original tag description submission.

We're aligning our tags with Ehentai because we actually get our content there. We have only a handful of tags where we use different names or definitions, and a handful that aren't on Ehentai at all but those require a lot of maintenance to keep around, galleries don't tag themselves, anything we don't import from ehentai has to be manually added by taggers/uploaders and activity on that front hasn't been very reassuring lately. If you want to suggest a new tag I recommend taking the discussion to discord where discussion can be a bit more active and others can easily join in. Though even then you'd need very clear proof that the tag is distinct from existing tags (like Midget), actually common enough to be its own niche (so prepare plenty of example galleries that wouldn't be covered by our Midget tag) and assure us that the tag is in good hands instead of just dying off as soon as you get tired/bored of it after a few weeks.

r34 is an absolutely fucking terrible example for other sites using the tag btw, their tagging is very disorganized, by the looks of it pretty much anyone can make a new tag without much regulation so there's a lot of tags fractured into several tags that mean the same thing over there. Boorus aren't exactly great examples in general, they only tag a single image at a time so they don't need to worry about stuff that would never pass the Presence rule here like "Clenched Teeth", "Kneeling", "Arms Behind Back", ect. Tagging doujins is also harder than single images so sites like EH and Pururin try to make it easier on taggers by generalizing a bit to have more global tags instead of making taggers memorize thousands of super specific ones.
