>>19119 @ Kaizuki Really? How many people actually do that? Cuz its pretty obvious that someone that is too lazy to do a simple "find" search on the pending page & too lazy to submit a complete tag if there is additional info that needs to be added would bee too lazy to do an edit. And there is such a thing as stealing someones upload when they have shown their intent to upload said work. That is the reason I check the pending for any tags that are pending for something someone is planning on uploading. Its a basic courtesy.
Actually, I figured out I could just go to the Puru's profile to see everything that was transferred over & might need fixing. But, I noticed that the little description the slides up when you roll over a gallery always saids "(insert parody)" or "original" manga. If it were to specify doujinshi & one shot too then it would make the process of fixing the category issue a hell of a lot easier.
Found 1 with the wrong title, artist, & category, and I'm sure there are many others like that. That makes me think that the ~26k that were transferred over are going to need to be checked over time til everything is right. So saying its too much work to fix mis-categorization doesn't really matter since they're gonna have to be gone through anyways regardless of how long it takes.
[C18729] I didn't know there was a tank tag, but by putting something in the manga category its implied that its a tank. Which is probably why it wasn't on the original site. To me its as useful as the nakadashi tag because almost every work has it. And when I was saying people are lazy I meant that some of the people uploading are lazy because there are some that don't check in to see if something needs to be fixed. Also, how many of the 30k galleries are duplicates because I did notice some tanks tagged how you said but were also incomplete tanks. I don't know how much help I can actually give, but is there a process to removing the duplicates? Is there also a way to look up the galleries that are mis-categorized other than going through thousands individually, like maybe upload date or something?
Not only do the titles need a little cleaning up, but I'm guessing these images have a huge loss in resolution cuz the file should be about 40 MB not 11.
Provide source links that would prove whatever info you're editing. If you tried to add it to the notes when you edited it & it wouldn't stick just add it in a comment. Just put a space after the dots like this so it comes up:
[C18332] K, so you point to a link & say that it saids something that it doesn't. Then when I call you out on it and you don't bother to say anything of value. I was expecting at least another link cuz maybe you linked the wrong thread.
But the fact is that Wani comes down hard on pirating, which is the reason any site that doesn't want to be taken down or hit with legal action stays clear of their work.
Assuming that "one shot" will be taken out, I think that it would be better to merge it with doujinshi because they're both single short stories that sometimes make a series.
[C18158] Alright, I don't know exactly what they said but it sounds more like people wanting to be lazy. And the consequences wouldn't really be noticeable if the category was taken out right now since there is nowhere near the amount of stuff on here that there was before, but as the site grows its gonna be a mess if you're trying to find some tanks. Especially if you don't remember the title or artist of a tank you're searching for.
On another note, Puru said the one shot category is supposed to be taken out and I asked why since its good for differentiating from tanks. Puru said someone said it was useless and to ask you. So why?

Alright, sorry just wanted to make sure. Also thanks for the Wani info, thats 1 less thing to worry about.
K, is there a way to crop after uploading yet? Cuz I was trying to figure it out with one of the other tanks I uploaded

I only see Fakku mentioned not Wani

Isn't that what lazy hippies used to say in tv shows
